Introduction
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infection caused by a bacteria called Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
It most commonly affects the lungs, but can also affect the central nervous system, causing meningitis, the circulatory system (military TB), the genitourinary system, bones and joints.
